About Us

This site was created by a substance abuse counselor, professional therapist and mother. It's here to support parents, grandparents, schools, organized teen groups, employers and those working to keep kids and teens free from the growing crisis of alcohol, drug and chemical abuse.

Drug Test Your Kid is owned and operated by Real World Counseling LLC, a counseling and therapy clinic under the direction of Stephanie Sherman, MC, LAC, LASAC.  Stephanie is both a licensed therapist and a substance abuse counselor, a mom, published author and nationally recognized speaker who continues to experience the challenges and rewards of parenting.

The mission of Drug Test Your Kid is to prevent the chaos and damage alcohol and drugs wreak on kids and family, and reclaim the lives and families of those already engaged with alcohol and drugs. There is hope. There are answers. Don't all the cheap and easy access of alcohol and drugs, legal or illegal, to trap your kid or teen right before your eyes.

Don't allow acceptance of social rights of passage usch as teenage drinking to threaten the future of your kid or teen.
